Captain EO!

This was the first time I ever laid eyes on MJ. Anyone remember this? I had to always see this at Disneyland when I went to visit when I was a kid. My first 3D movie too!  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Remember This? V Saved By The Bell Edition
June 9, 2009

In light of Jimmy Fallon having the best guest since his show started last night, freaking Zack Morris!! Or if you have to call him by his real name, Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Here is the original opening of what was to become Saved By The Bell.

Good Morning, Miss Bliss was with Hayley Mills (you know her from the original Parent Trap and other Disney movies). It was going to only center around her and focus very little on her students. However NBC thought the show could go in another direction and canned it. Kept 3 of the original kids, Zack, Screech, and Lisa Turtle, and of course Mr. Belding. Then just rebranded it focusing just on the teens. It worked! And now 20 years later, its still popular!

If you remember, once Saved By The Bell got extremely popular, they started to air these earlier episodes with a little intro by Zack. They only ever aired 6 episodes from the show.

And oh, if you want to see Zack on Jimmy Fallon, click here to watch it on Hulu.

So this is not nearly as old as some of the things I’ve posted on here. But none the less, a pretty old show. Anyone remember Reboot? This show came out in the mid 90s on ABC and was the very first kids show to use nothing but computer animation.

What if tron became a weekly animated tv show? Then infuse that with a 30 minute non-stop commercial for Nintendo. What do u get? Captain N.

Besides the obvious that this was a very long commercial, it was still a entertaining show. I remember watching this show on various networks as a kid. Anyone remember The Family Channel? I swear the lost and forgotten of the cartoon world was played entirely on that channel.

And oh yeah, its complete with 8-bit sounds. Click play.

Ah, Mr. Wizard. This is the one show I would wake up super early to see. It would play on Nickelodeon in the wee hours of the morning. Usually right before that Lost Cities of Gold show. My mom would always get upset with me because I would actually go out and try one of those experiments that Mr. Wizard was so infamous for. Usually I made a mess.

I was sad when I learned recently that Mr. Wizard wasn’t even an actual scientist. Just a paid actor. Thanks again for crushing my childhood memories Geraldo! (lol)

I know I do. Classic 80’s sitcom, “Out of this world.” Brings back a lot of great memories. It only lasted 96 episodes. 4 more and it would of made syndication! What a shame!
